Annie Mist Thorisdottir was born in Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro athlete. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of in the CrossFit Games twice. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete as well as a popular anchor on the media. She was the first woman to win The CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. In 2013 and 2017 she was the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and other siblings. From a very young age Annie was a huge sporting fan, and she loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her in competitions for school. She participated for the first occasion in 2009 CrossFit Games in California In the event, she came out extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She's 5'7" tall, and weighs about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed in the top 10 of the 70. The team was not able to earn any awards, and ended up 11th in the final standings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the tutelage of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. After an entire year of CrossFit Games Annie took home her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances earned her the title. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of in the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has led her to become the face of many brand names in the field of sports, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with around thousands of subscribers. There, her training video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
