Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat group of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for over twenty years. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her debut film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is considered as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. Even though the budget for this film was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. At the same time she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows in where she's been featured. The show Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She also appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is only a short cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her performances. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
